Where can I buy BNB (2 or 20)? What is the difference between BNB (Bep2) and BNB (Bep20)?
Let's not overcomplicate: BNB2 is the old blockchain. BNB20 is the newer, cheaper fee, more efficient blockchain for the BNB network. BNB20 also supports the same ERC20 address as your ETH (ethereum) address. For most moonshots and airdrops, you want to have a BNB20 chain open using the metamask wallet. You also want to have swapped BNB2 for BNB20. using Trustwallet.
OK... So where do I buy?
Binance - Buy BNB, if on Binance.US you will need to send to trust wallet to swap for Bep20.
Kucoin - buy KCS first then trade for BNB. Will need to then send to trust wallet to swap for Bep20.
Trustwallet - buy BNB Bep20 directly.
Klever Wallet - buy BNB then swap it for BEP20.
Lastly, Crypto.com - buy BNB, may need to swap in trust wallet, and depending on your state, may not be able to buy at all.
If your debit card is not accepted, try using ACH. If that does not work, try another option listed on this page, or a bank wire. You may have to simply withdraw cash against a credit card in order to buy off of credit, depending on where you live. These sites should walk you through the buying process. For most airdrops and moonshots, you want BNB Bep20 (BNB20) so be sure to swap.
